I have housework & some baking on my wknd agenda. On Saturday, there is a Christmas market at the park by my house, a 2min walk, so I will probably take a peek at it. I love fruitcake, though I have never made it. I imagine it is darn costly to make these days, as it always was expensive to buy all that fruit & nuts! Today, I do not know anything that isn’t expensive, ugh! I hope you have a good day & feel much better my friend!

I have not seen her for about a year & 1/2. We grew up together as neighbours! It will be so nice to catch up again! I do hope you are feeling better? Terrible time to get sick, not that any time is good?! That is a lot of fruitcake, you must make it for others? My mom always made it every year!

Good morning Eileen! We had snow overnight, just about an inch. I was hoping for an early start but was notified of an 8am conference call. Those always put me behind, sigh! Later this am I am meeting my girlfriend, from across the country, for a coffee. She is in the area for a week.

Happy Monday, happy December Eileen! I had a good wknd, got quite a bit done but could have done more! My 2 days go by fast! We did not get very much snow, maybe 1/2 inch Saturday evening & by morning the rain had washed it all away! The countdown to Xmas has now begun, 😂 Enjoy your day! ♥️ 🤶 🌲

Good morning Eileen! There was a pre-planned power outage overnight from 2am till 7:30am & boy was it dark in the house! I am sitting having a leisurely coffee at the moment! I am planning to attend an outdoor Xmas night market later today but they are forecasting nasty weather & snow!
