I hope if you have you’ll give our silly little record a spin, made by two goofballs trying to reach for something a lil bigger than themselves x

It was the happiest week of my life, not being at my day job, performing at my absolute peak, surrounded by the greatest bunch of folk you could ever dream of working with

As someone with autism having gone through a long bout of depression and addiction, this record was really healing and magic

Lo and behold I get a reply and we’re booked into a really nice place to bash these 8 tracks out, It was scary to be in such a nice place surrounded by such nice stuff. I remember cutting my hours down at work so I could practice 8 songs worth of guitar, bass and drums

Originally I was supposed to be the drummer for slumclub but my mate after demoing a load of tunes on my laptop said “you need to play guitar in the band”

I’ve only ever really drummed in bands so this was different, I could play guitar but to no great standard but I was up to the challenge

Never been to Chicago nor have I ever tried a deep dish pizza so I thought I’d give it a go and it was an absolute #belter go on you clever folk over in #chicago x
