The ozempic shortage has me royally fucked. It’s supposed to last until Spring and I’m on a 200 person wait list. I have to switch to a different medication and hope that the side effects don’t annihilate me.

Can anyone recommend a cat sitter in HRM? Ideally someone Stevie can stay with, she doesn’t love being left alone too long. She’s low maintenance but needs medication once a day.

I don’t think I can give Stevie her IV fluids!!! How do I hold her still and inject the syringe? It looks so easy in the videos. Gahhhhhhh

I know it’s just a lot of financial fear mongering on TikTok but it’s REAL frustrating that I’ve done everything “right” and still may end up unable to afford my mortgage.

I have to go to the vet with Stevie today to learn how to give her subq fluids and I’m dreading it!!! Couldn’t get a disease treated with pills, no way not her.

I might get to go to Comox for work next week! On the one hand I’ve never been to BC and I really want to go, on the other hand it’s stressful and I’ll have so much to do to get ready and my kitty is gonna hate it!

So the ozempic shortage has hit Nova Scotia. I have to call around and try and find some at my prescribed dose. I take it for diabetes and it works great.

I have an old Apple tree in my backyard so naturally I now have a ton of apples on the ground. They’re not good for anything right? I can just compost em? My new mower can’t chop them like the old one did.
