As the government shutdown continues, many families are feeling the strain of missed paychecks and rising expenses. The recent disruption to SNAP benefits has also made it harder for families to access essential food and nutrition resources, adding even more stress for those already struggling.

Jill Jacobs wrote: "Thanks to you & your agencies for participating in bringing Yom Limmud back with exceptional speakers & OVER 200 participants! The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. We are taking notes for next year's event & looking for a date, so stay tuned."
HFLA-SA was delighted to assist organizers of Yom Limmud which took place last Sunday. Over 200 community members joined in a festive day of shared learning.
