Sitting here with Tim Cook's book open on my lap when I find out that he is gone. When I met him he said he'd read my book and signed his to me from one historian to another, he a highly prolific, brilliant, and decorated PhD in military history, me a rank amateur. RIP, Tim you were so kind!🥺

108 years ago today, the Canadian Corp took the impossible, Vimy Ridge (most of it). Nearly 3600 made the ultimate sacrifice, 7000 more were injured.
