Pasadena, CA No Kings rally

Had a great summer helping monarch butterflies hatch by shielding them from the many predators they face. So far 15, and a few more on the way!

I don't watered four city trees this morning with a local volunteer group in my neighborhood. It was fun and now I will wave at my trees every day when I drive by.

I'm heading to a hands off protest on 4/5 and got a boost by making this poster for it. Also checking in with my therapist tomorrow to vent a bit. It's a delicate balance!

We took in a cat I'm pretty sure was dumped in our neighborhood. It's a little extra work and money and a whole lot more fur since she's gigantic and super fluffy. That moment cat gets pushed out of a car onto a strange street must be so hopeless and terrifying. Now she's safe again.

Sometimes I ask my sweet empty headed orange kitty if he's planning some blank staring in his day.
