The other thing about #FocusFriend is that I made my little bean a coffee bean and named him Cold Brew but I don't think he knows he's a coffee bean and sometimes I catch him drinking coffee and should I be concerned about the cannibalism?

So I tried out the #FocusFriend app by Hank Green and I find one of the most helpful uses for it is setting it to the highest level of minutes before I go to bed at night so I don't check my phone when I don't instantly fall asleep. But also that feels like cheating somehow.

Today I tried a class of something new and was called out by the instructor as "an inspiration" to the other students for sucking the most, I guess. 🙃 I think I'll stick to swimming.

A swimming update for the 3 people here who like reading swimming posts. My last class was the 2nd or 3rd attempt to learn butterfly. I could only do 2ish strokes at a time, but I kept going 2-3 strokes at a time for the entire class. I felt it more than swimming laps the whole time. Lol.

I don't know, man. If your whole thing is "democracy is on the line" and then your response to democracy being on the line is to take nice smiling pictures with the people threatening democracy, maybe you didn't care that much about democracy to begin with.
