Its still surprisingly cool first thing in the morning here in YYJ, which is perfect for harvesting carrots. These are the baby carrots that weren’t harvested last summer. They haven’t started to sprout new growth, so they’re still crisp and sweet. Not bad for the 2nd week of March. #FrugalFiles

In today’s episode of the Frugal Files, I harvested some carrots from the garden. They’re wildly imperfect but still delicious. I have a feeling that Victory Gardens are going to make a big comeback this year, so consider buying your seeds early (from a Canadian source, of course).
