The vibe I’m reading is less about age specifically and more about Whiteness. The character on the left is a red head, which (tho not exclusively) most often appears in Scottish or Scandinavian descent. The darker skin and eyes of the character on the left make her a little ambiguous tho gorgeous

Be patient with yourself and take breaks as needed! It’s okay to step away, just come back again with your head cleared

As someone who’s also struggled with this, it really comes up to showing up somewhere consistently and showing genuine interest and presence in the activity. Exposure is easy in school, harder when you’re not constantly exposed to the same groups.
