It's from the Great British Bake-Off, so 'pudding' in this sense is really a gingerbread cake. Made it 7-8 years ago and it's been on the menu every year since. (Any recipe that calls for 1Tbsp of ginger is on the right track for me!)

Due to career-related moves, I usually spend Thanksgiving on my own (and travel to family for Christmas/New Year). But I love cooking/baking/eating, so I still make myself a full meal every year of "solo Thanksgiving". Here's this year's menu:

My favorite brewery just happens to be on the way to/from said apple orchard, so a stop was necessary on the way home. (Their marzen is on tap, a few things make me happier than a good Oktoberfest style beer)

But really - this is evil. It's a 12.5km climb at the end of a 200km race day, which has extended sections that are over 20% gradient over the final kms. Just brutal (and why I enjoy watching pro cycling)

Good news - condo has recovered and all is seemingly back to normal.

Not as good - condo association has not been helpful with preventative measures to keep this from happening again.
