We were really fortunate that Capcom let us run with all of these ideas! I probably could have pushed some of the suits more but for MM1 in particular but I gave myself some restraint.

Oil Man I have seen depicted with his scarf over his mouth in comics but I still wanted to show his full face.

I think we have done some fun and unique things with this book and all I can hope for at this point is that people enjoy it! I don't know what to expect and I always get nervous at the moment of a big release... And I'm probably more so nervous about a release this big!

This was a great watch! And you're right I didn't know most of that.

Do you know Mega Man 2 this well?

For the guide we needed to keep tips basic... But it would be fun to try and include some weird glitches in the future. Thanks for sharing.

Been trying to force myself into the Halloween spirit this year. Forgot you were doing this until my brother reminded me the other day. I'm almost all caught up, but it has certainly helped greatly!

I have an oval seal Castlevania as well so after last night's defeat I decided to win this morning.

Unrelated but my old phone took better CRT images.

Hook that stuff up.

I never knew this! I bought mine the day it came out and sure enough there's a sticker on there.

The book consists of tips from 8 manga and game artists that have different levels of digital art experience and how they felt about making work with Mario Paint. The first one here (Play 89) is by Akihito Tomisawa of Game Freak.

Then they even suggest bringing your VHS work to different print shops throughout Tokyo so that you can make stickers and key chains with your Mario Paint art.
