Plaintiffs in Johnson (as well as Davis & Cirkunovs) v Zuffa want the Judge to know the Defendants are missing documents. For example, Dana White & Tracy Long have apparently lost years of text messages and emails even though they should have been preserving all docs since 2014.

Update on Le v Zuffa: Judge Boulware has signed the Motion for Disbursement of the Net Le v Zuffa Settlement Fund. (Was signed Friday but was only posted to the Court today.) So checks should start going out to fighters any day now.

The average payment for a member of the class will be $231,022.29; median $86,034.65; high is $10,334,240.72; & a low of $16,138.45. Based on the final settlement fund each fighter should get 32.7% of their total bout compensation earned during the class period plus $14,179.33 each bout. 3/

Angeion mailed to 1,121 Class Members individualized claim forms and Angeion received a total of 1,088 claims submissions, of which 37 contested their info. 2/

In Le v Zuffa news, the Claims Administrator, Angeion Group, has filed a report on the status of processing Class Member claim submissions. Settlement fund will be distributed no later than September 19 "after permitting Angeion time to complete several administrative tasks" 1/

Phil Davis is the named plaintiff in another antitrust class action complaint filed against the UFC. This one is seeking injunctive relief for non UFC fighters. @crooklyn.bsky.social and I will be going over it on a new Hey Not the Face! episode that's going up shortly. It is a doozy.

New filing - Plaintiff’s inform the Court that they filed the Cirkunovs
Complaint as related to Johnson case and want it assigned to Boulware. Also request the Court enter the Parties’ Stipulations which would amend their complaint redefining who is a class member.

New potential class action filed with Judge Boulware's court. Mikhail Cirkunovs (AKA Misha Cirkunov) v Zuffa (AKA UFC). Almost identical complaint to Johnson v Zuffa but looking to represent fighters that signed arbitration agreements/class action waivers (and challenge them.)

Parties in Le v Johnson jointly agree to the filing of an amended complaint that includes a new definition for who is a class member in order to address the Plaintiff's motion to deny class certification. This excludes those with an arbitration agreement or class action waiver.

Fighter who have verified their info should be getting their claim forms any day now. They have until June 16 to sign them and send them in. 73 fighters (out of 1115) have not verified their info. Among them Brock Lesnar and BJ Penn.

I have a new piece up today looking at TKO's plans to amend the Ali Act so they can have their own titles. So how much control does a promoter having their own titles and rankings give them over boxers? According to Lou DiBella in his Le v Zuffa deposition, a lot.

Judge Boulware has issued an order granting Motion for Final Judgment in Le v Zuffa and approves the settlement, the notice plan, and plan of allocation. So fighters have 105 days starting today to make sure their executed claim forms are handed in order to receive their share.
