Really happy to see the NYT give Jamelle Bouie room to write about pedestrian deaths on NYC streets twice in one week.

Feel good this morning that a small group of New Yorkers was able to make a material change to preserve monarch butterfly habitats.
At my kid’s school, and the meeting I’m in got interrupted by daily announcements, which included the Pledge of Allegiance, the “under god” version. I had no idea they still did that.
