Is it at all possible to get a list of everything else we can blame you for? I'm trying to dodge responsibility for everything.

If you're looking for something that's more rules light (and also inexpensive), you might want to look at Black Star from Lakeside Games. Black Star and the Black Star Companion are $4.95 each for the pdf on drivethru ($8.95 each for a print edition on Lulu).

Stars Without Number by Kevin Crawford has a rules system that draws inspiration from both D&D and Traveller. It's actually quite good. The pdf is actually free, if you want to try before you buy, or if you don't need a print copy.

Die Hard made me want to learn German, because if I ever can't make myself understood in German, I can always shout something like "shoot the glass!" in English, and be confident that every German-speaking person will understand me.

Not mentioned in those three, but I think Call of Cthulhu also had a pretty big cultural impact.

I was actually viewing A5e as a whole other (superior) game to 5E, otherwise I would have included it.

It's a good thing that the best 5e content is all 3rd party stuff...like the stuff published by Kobold Press, Frog God Games, Hit Point Press, MCDM, Petersen Games, Ghostfire Gaming, Mage Hand Press, Kibble, and Goodman Games.

Looks delicious.

Be a shame if anything...happened to it.

Or cookies, which was surprising.

The way the elves dressed in that movie, I think it was reasonable to expect a whole lot of cookies.

I'd played all of those games from the very beginning, and I never encountered that attitude.

The closest thing that I've encountered to that attitude came from players of differing editions of D&D squabbling over who was playing the best edition.

Spoiler alert: books 2 and 3 repeat a fair bit of material.

For a Witcher fan:

"The Blade Itself" by Joe Abercrombie

"The Prince of Thorns" by Mark Lawrence

"The Lies of Locke Lamora" by Scott Lynch

"Gardens of the Moon" by Steven Erikson

"Chronicles of the Black Company" by Glen Cook (Omnibus volume contains the first three novels)

If that were true, I would forgive all of his missteps.

I can't bring myself to watch it because of how Netflix screwed over Evil Genius Games regarding the Rebel Moon TTRPG.
