There are at least two prominent authors on this app (probably more - I haven't been on it that long, nor have I researched it that much) who are being misrepresented. On the surface, they seem genuine, but my spidey senses went off when each sent me casual DMs ... I question the guardrails here.

Totally agree. This old fart loved Truly Devious, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series, and many many others.
