Finishing up my first playthrough of Metaphor and some Echoes of Wisdom!

Had no idea the legend himself was on here! Your Vs. series got me through some really rough times, thank you for all the years of peak gaming content!

Probably the worst expansion so far for me. The quality of the writing has fallen so far from Shadowbringers. The fact that it takes like 8 hours to even see a single instance of combat from the beginning of the MSQ is absurd. And Wuk being forced into the final trial did it for me. 5/10 for me

YES Wilds looks incredible. I'm gonna have to go back to World and Rise before February to brush up on Monster Hunter combat. All the JRPGs this year have probably did a number on my Monster Hunter skills 😂

The combat director of DMC5 is responsible for the combat in FFXVI! I thought that was super cool when I learned that. It's definitely worth your time if you decide to check it out! It's alot more fast paced and complex but it provides a very satisfying feeling when you master it. Great game!

This is such a good feature and more turn based RPGs need this. Also being able to grind outside of battles AND regain MP with the right Architype setup is incredible. I love this game so much

This looks like Hollow Knight, Celeste, and Kirby Canvas Curse had a baby and it's amazing! Beautiful game!

I love action combat as long as it's engaging. FFXVI was enjoyable enough but the combat was a miss for me. Too reliant on cooldown abilities and the basic melee attack felt like slapping things with pool noodles 😂

Also please bring back turn based battle systems. Atlas proved several times in this year alone that turn based games are still peak JRPG goodness

I didn't even know this game existed until your comment 😂 yeah that one's a little rough looking. But honestly it has a certain charm to it. I grew up playing PS2 JRPGs so I can kinda see myself giving that one a look down the road on a deep sale
