Let’s say those four turnover and someone (UF I assume) hires Kiffin. Those 5 programs aren’t hiring in 2026. UGA, Bama, Aggie, and Tennessee aren’t hiring. That leaves Mizzou, OU, and Texas, and I don’t think those jobs turn over unless Drink trades up or Sark/Venables craters.

There were a lot of things Richt did that led to that belief. one that springs to mind: the school’s harsh suspension policy for marijuana was an outlier among SEC schools, and if he was fighting to change it, we never knew.
