If you want something a bit more advanced with the option to sync to multiple devices, Obsidian is wonderful.

Works well just sticking the vaults in Dropbox/OneDrive/etc, no need to pay for their sync service.

There’s definitely something magical feeling about writing to a memory address and seeing something on the screen with no intermediate steps.

Despite being incomplete I definitely recommend MGSV for a better introduction to Kojima and how he works.

Death Stranding is definitely a bit more dense but the final act makes up for it a lot, if you can push through to it.

That’s interesting that there’s that much of a performance hit for eliding a type. You’d think just having static but implicit typing would be good enough. I guess not so for interpreted languages.

Specifically in transport speed, if you have HTTP/2, it should not make a noticeable difference either way. I have not looked into browser parsing speeds of CSS though.
