Hyperbaric chambers have not been shown to improve recovery in athletes after practice/games. Some studies have shown potential but few conclusions can be drawn. A recent systematic review (2024) was only able to include 13 studies and not all participants were athletes.

I got to see Ripkin the Bat Dog at the Winter Classic against the Carolina Hurricanes in 2023. The Caps played like garbage, but overall the whole experience was awesome and Ripkin a special highlight. Safe travels across the Rainbow Bridge, buddy. You will be missed.
