Hydalisk is similar in size and temperament to a hydra but lacks the regenerative ability. They are also an ambush predator that stands motionless outside its cavern at night and snaps up anything human-sized or moderately larger.

Colossal Pearl Snail is a mode of safe deep sea travel. The "pearl" on their back is permeable when they are on the surface but in the water it becomes an impenetrable barrier. Domesticated Pearl Snails have the interior of their bubbles modified to be comfortable for passengers.
