Just played a game of magic where someone got upset about deathtouch+trample, not because they disagreed with how it works, but because “it didn’t feel right”. And you know, valid. You are allowed to feel that way.

I feel in a deck building rut right now. I am trying to stop buying precons and upgrading them, but when I try to brew from scratch I keep finding the commanders I pick either too linear/constricted, or the lists never feeling “finished” enough.

Had a horrid pool for my first prerelease this weekend that almost soured me out of this whole weekend but had a blast at 2HG!

Tried to get back into Arena, did a Foundations quick draft. Built a UB graveyard matters deck I felt pretty good about. First match opponent has all graveyard hate main board. Second game I managed to stabilize only to get Exanguinated two turns in a row. Had to take a walk after that.

I have been on a crafty kick lately, so today I reorganized my office because the old layout was cumbersome for moving around my workstations. Also got to hookup my 3D printer to the PC directly, no more moving a USB around!

Learned to sew a bodysuit today at a drag sewing workshop! I also been making dice bags because they are so neat.

Finally at the airport, but I forgot backpack with my decks at my friend’s apartment. That bad karma means good karma for the flight and I get back in one piece, right? Had a blast in Chicago, next time, (hopefully) Atlanta!
