If the originals never existed, these could even compete with $150 fragrances and sell pretty well at a higher end department store like a Nordstrom at least. My experience with clones and dupes has been an impressive one. I’m still Team OG, but you don’t have to settle for shit quality for less.

In my 20s, Acqua Di Gio, Le Male, Aventus, Pure Malt. There’s an intent with that. As I got older, I wanted softer, closer to the skin fragrances. That’s why Another 13 and Imagination feel more like who I am in my 40s. Smell nice and not trying hard for attention. Love this era for me. LOL.

FYI, I’m not trying to be a reviewer. I’m honestly still learning. A lot of people in opinion heavy hobbies don’t often admit they don’t know a whole lot. I guess it’s to feel like they fit in that hobby space and not feel dumb.

With alcohol, there’s people who just want to get sh*t faced drunk. Then there’s me, I treat weed like a glass of wine. I enjoy it with a meal. I like to use it before bed. Black Magic, very good as long as you’re not paying over $60 1/8th for it that is. I swear, my prices of weed is skewed.

Flavor: There’s something vaguely sweet and somewhat dough-like. It isn’t some cloud monster for me.

Effects: I can feel my face relaxing, but the high isn’t overwhelming and gentle. One of the few strains I’ve smoked this year that feels like medicine than a can of Four Loko.

The tricky part is that yea, like the Penny 2 and Shaqnosis, people associate it with a period of basketball history. Shaq and Penny’s run. Then you got the two Jordans he wore pregame, they were specific MOMENTS in basketball history. Under Armour failed to capitalize on Steph’s moments and runs.

I think Steph is trying to capture a feeling and experience of wearing various signature sneaker models of the past. Go back in time and know how it feels to put on a specific pair of kicks. I think he wants people to feel the same way with his future sneaker line. On and off the court. 🤔

The flu game 12s and last shot 14s were definitely the mentality he had going into the Utah Jazz game, IYKYK, after such a bad past few games (not for him, but for everyone else). Dude was gonna cook and he did it in Sabrina 3s with her sitting court side.

The clones I speak of is Aribayat Prestige Marwa (Imagination) and French Avenue Soothing Zephyr. You’re welcome.

On that note. Man, I read that Leafly article I randomly stumbled upon telling the lore behind OG Kush. The foundation strain of California that shaped today’s weed culture. That’s how I approach my hobbies. I’m a product catalog and a bit of a historian. I love a good story.

Also rap music had more context. I just knew all the stereotypical experiences of a stoner, just not really the IKYK lingo. Like relistening to a Mac Miller song and realizing he name dropped one of the original breeders of OG Kush. Migos rapped about Gelato. Kodak Black mentioned Cherry Pie.

When I started, it really wasn’t that long ago, guys. But I remembered back then it was all about Gelato, GMO, Wedding Cake, Gorilla Glue 4, Sunset Sherbet, etc. Now it’s crazy exotic gassy terp salads like Super Boof, Permanent Marker, Zushi, etc. Z or Runtz cross. It’s cool to see a scene pivot!

Again, me knowing myself well enough at that time in my life, I knew I had to be at the right mind state consistently to partake in weed. I avoided it for most of my life, like how? LOL, but when I started in 2019, the timing just felt right. I got to witness a 6 year era of the scene too.
