I picked up a box of vhs tapes from a guy on fb marketplace today, he struggled to carry it, offered to carry it to my car for me “are you sure? It’s pretty heavy”

I’m far enough away from the damage this dude caused me that my only reaction to him reaching out is to laugh and move on with my day, but it IS fascinating to me that he thinks I’d ever speak to him again, am I gonna have to muster up this kind of audacity in order to pass as a guy?

There’s a great video essay about these types of “how to make money as an artist” videos and how they’re just a grift for views/to sell some sort of course bc they usually never give any sort of concrete advice, its just nebulous shit like this
