Chiptune artist from Rochester, New York, with a focus on slightly jazzier tunes.
If you can find other ways to support your favorite artists that isn't streaming on Spotify, and are financially comfortable doing so, then that's going to be better than the fraction of a cent per stream that Spotify gives out.

Stream elsewhere. Buy the digital album. Rock a CD. Spin some vinyl.

You can still find my music on Deezer, Tidal, Pandora, and my YouTube channel (@heydronmusic). You can also support me directly as an artist and buy my music from my Bandcamp. Alternatives to Spotify exist, and you can and should use them.

Also, go support Jeremy from Red Means Recording & LEASHES (@jjbbllkk.bsky.social). Dude makes cool tunes, and his video on the whole Spotify bullshit is the reason I'm taking the actions I am.

He's also a fox sometimes, which is neat.

Thank you all for the support you've given me as a new artist. I'm finally able to upload things like liner notes to Bandcamp, so on future full album releases I'll be including those.

Remember to support real artists and fight back against mindless LLM slop clogging the airwaves.

4. Progress will be made for an official heydron website.

Right now it's still in the planning phase, and I will be quite busy over the next few months due to university commitments, but eventually I will have an HTML website running.

3. All future releases will be withheld from YouTube Music.

I will still maintain my personal YouTube channel (@heydronmusic) for things like visualizers. I will also continue to bar people from remixing my videos via Shorts.

2. All future releases will be withheld from Spotify.

If you wish to stream any of my music, I'm still publishing via Deezer, Tidal, and Pandora, and if there's any other services that you all want to recommend, I can release to those platforms too so long as Distrokid can do so.

1. All current releases will be removed from Spotify.

I'm not sure how long this takes for Distrokid to accomplish, but all 3 current streaming releases (CMOS, Pawtracks, & ON TAPE DELAY + singles) will be taken off the platform indefinitely.
