Like I’m sorry you didn’t realize we were a reserve population for the US, we haven’t owned most of our industries in decades and we’ve designed everything from our dollar to our arts to our businesses to create a weak foundation that can easily be bought by the highest (U.S) bidder.

It kinda seem like IBLP’s practices likely became a model within the JW faith around the time my grandparents joined, because I have heard some of these clips verbatim in my own KH - wouldn’t surprise me if this was the “inspo” borrowed to create a new organizational vision during the 80s/90s

Take away the thirst for political power, having too many damn kids and mandatory homeschooling, and you have a pretty accurate take on being raised a JW - down to the damn “conventions”, courtship practices, gaslighting techniques…

Ontarian here, he’s been saying this for the last month to win a snap election, Ford is a known Trump supporter who’s just talking shit for the public while he does the opposite in private.

Times like this remind me of a video I saw of an African woman who said she couldn’t understand why the West was so powerful when everything ran on credit and at least she owned her all her things outright.
