I got the Canon 500D that I bought back in 2010 fully cleaned and refurbished.

I bought an adapter for my vintage Olympus Zuiko lenses, and now I can shoot digital with them.

It's pretty wild being able to see photos immediately.

A look inside one of the buildings surrounding an old WW2 Japanese oil refinery. The refinery is in the process of being preserved for historical purposes, and the buildings surrounding it are now a living museum. This room houses elementary school art projects highlighting the different bat species that live in the area and inside the old buildings.

The mountains in Taiwan never cease to blow my mind. They are rugged, dense, and I always think that it's wild that people have not only explored them, but have made livelihoods within them.

I love taking photos of moths. Campsites in Taiwan almost always have bathrooms with bright lights and white plastic walls - perfect for finding moths.

Here's what I think is a Cyana sp. moth from Smangus.

This hike was too dark for most pictures, but there was a clearing and I had to snag a photo of these pine needles with Five Finger Mountain in the background. This was on the hike up Goose Mountain in Hsinchu County, Taiwan.

Just got 3 rolls of film scans sent to me 3 days earlier than expected!
The #OMsystem #Zuiko 50mm 3.5 macro lens absolutely rules when used as a macro, hit or miss for landscape, and decent for portrait shots. I'm stoked to share more, but it's late.

Went to hike Goose Mountain 鵝公髻山.
Didn't finish because we got a late start, but I'll be back maybe next weekend.
You can see the backside of Five Finger Mountain in this photo and beyond that is Hsinchu and the ocean.
Magical place only about an hour away.
