What a treat to feature in @aswirl.bsky.social for the first time with a meandering poem that features at the back page! 💙 Aswirl is a tiny quarterly magazine based in Brighton and edited by Robin Boothroyd. It celebrates minimalist and concrete poetry.

I’m very excited to announce my second solo exhibition at DUNOON MOCA! The show showcases a form of tactile poetry that tackles social and ecological issues, while it also challenges our perception of what poetry can be.

Banners 4 Justice runs from 6-28 Sept. Details: www.dunoon-moca.com 💙

Today I delivered a workshop at the Southbank Centre! We made concrete poems with a group of local Year 5s. 🩷 The workshop was part of the Imagine the Future project, a large-scale visual poetry project for every Lambeth school that encourages young people’s creativity.

This is ‘mille kisses’. Since giving birth 6 months ago, I have spent countless hours feeding and bonding with my baby. Breastfeeding has been exhausting, challenging, rewarding, comforting and truly a full-time job but I cherish the opportunity to be able to do it! ❤️

This is my sculptural poem ‘decayed’ which was exhibited at the Words from the Wild show at Royal Holloway last year. The bark was recovered from a local restoration area in Bushy Park and belonged to one of the several conker trees that were recently cut down.

Heartfelt thanks to Museo MUACC in Cagliari (Italy) for the opportunity to take part in the exhibition Books As Art which launched yesterday! The overarching mission of the project is focused on ‘restoring’ women’s artistic research back into the cultural history of the 20th and 21st centuries. 🖤

I am 3 weeks away from my due date (can’t wait to meet baby!) so this was probably the last visit to my exhibition at the National Poetry Library! I loved going through the exhibition’s visitors book and look forward to spending more time with it at the end of the show. ❤️

This is one of my favourite National Poetry Library commissions from my current solo exhibition. This tactile poetic response to Simmias of Rhodes is made of eggshell and beeswax, and is about motherly love and unborn possibilities. 🤍
