Agreed. I have no clue. I downloaded the app today because I was curious as well. It seems out of date, does not provide context or supporting documentation and it’s fairly inconsistent with Open secrets. Which is far more credible and bases their reporting on FEC data.

Folks aren’t using the app correctly. That’s the issue. The app should make it easier to clarify if the donations are by the company or individuals. Right now the data is showing both as one metric instead of separately. 😅

You have to make sure to look at the company not the individuals. I know it’s confusing at first :)

Incase you’re interested. I haven’t seen anything about them removing DEI but I could have missed it.
