Or end-of-shift notes. AI can pull data from the chart based on a patient’s care plan for that day. With those details covered, nurses can focus on adding their clinical expertise to their notes rather than on combing through the chart.

A lot's become available to Epic users since April ‘23.

Take visit prep. Depending on a clinician’s specialty, care setting, and the patient history, Epic can highlight information that helps clinicians spot patterns and digest information quickly. Patient summarization was released last summer.
