Honestly though? Some really solid games crossed off the backlog there - And the experience of playing them for the first time doesn't go away wether its GOTY or from a decade ago 😎

I'm lowkey jealous, I get so distracted by new and shiny games I feel like i'll never tame the backlog 😭

Loved my GameCube when I got it and loved it now.

Never learnt until wayyyy later it didnt do that well.

It has such a strong line-up of games to me, I don't think i'd ever have imagined it - 24 years is crazy though, I remember picking the bundle out in store like it was yesterday. 😭

Not quite a favourite, but when I was younger I rented Space Station Silicon Valley.

I've never owned it since nor found the time to go back and play it - And somehow that has left the Magic of it intact to me, where it's still this mysterious game of unknown posibilities like it was back then. 😌

Astro Bot REALLY took me by surprise, I've always loved platformers and got it on a whim, but I was absolutely enamoured with it!

So many unique ideas, it's so responsive and controls well. So many references it feels like such a celebration game. So much fun.

Now I can't wait for the next one 😭

Ahh, I never played the origional Half Life, but I did get the vibe that the Aeshetic and Style was influenced by it!

The joy of exploration and finding things in games. 😭👌

Might bump it a few notches up the backlog list haha.

And I still have the extra levels they added to play yet 😭💕

It was the souls series that made me realise I love a well designed map with secrets and extras. Absolutely adore that sort of design.

I'm mighty interested to hear abiotic factor described in the same way though? I've been super interested in it but didn't have the map pegged in that category? 👀

There's something about being there on day one when everyone's excited for a game release and discovering things that I just love.

it's awful, I feel for the people just pouring their hearts into making games to be laid off like that - I was gutted when they closed down Arkane Austin and Tango Gameworks too. Atleast the doors are still open for Rare I guess. 😅

Such a shame we'll never see what was next from them though. 😔
