The gauntlets are truly what I like least about Silksong. The bosses can be super hard and still fun to fight but the gauntlets are just too random for me. Especially when there's flighing enemies and they form a wall that you physically can't get through, squishing you against the room boundary

Oh right, I've been using exclusively _process up to now. I mean, I multiplied with delta everywhere and it looks okay but I know it's not really mathematically accurate when dealing with acceleration. Is it very important to use physics_process?
