I’m not super familiar with Fujimoto outside CSM. Does he like classic cheesy serials like Buck Rodgers or Flash Gordon? Is he a fan of silent films like Metropolis? Does he like the golden age of Hollywood cinema from 1927-1969?

I agree, yet Star Wars is meant to be cheesy and feel like a 1930s serial. It’s as central to Star Wars as AtomPunk is to Fallout. As a result I would choose a film student who has a love for the golden age of cinema and Japanese media such as anime.

Honestly, it’s not even that good! I don’t know how it got so popular. it’s a mid-series with bad word-building and horrible characterization. Harry is a blank slate. I don’t know how it got so popular.
