Self-indulgent urban fantasy(ish) running on interesting characters and vibes alone.
Is it great? I don't know but it sure is entertaining and you finish it in one sitting.

So many cool ideas and concepts but focused on the wrong plot lines imo- I want more exploration of classism and working for nazis and less romance.
More eeire vibes and more pages honestly.

I simply didn't click with the book. Not in a bad way- it just felt like very standard contemp-kinda-biographical literature to me

I get why people enjoy it (the worldbuilding slaps) but the characters fell flat for me and it felt too slow and too fleeting at the same time pacing wise
(I don't think I will continue the series)

Felt a bit too much like therapy for me and too vague but the prompts might be helpful to others and I like the different perspectives on the topic discussed.

One of my new favourite books when talking about class and the climate crisis.
Pragmatic, hopeful and surprisingly fun/entertaining. Fox has a way with words and leading you through very hard, dark topics without loosing the main focus of it all.

This book fucked me up. I don't tend to read a lot of german contemp fiction/biographical literature. But this book made me felt seen, it didn't feel pretentious and so very honest in so many different aspects. The ending is absolutely amazing.
The DSA references fucked me up tho.

Hey, I like this series because it feels like solid fanfiction not because it's a literary masterpiece and it knows how to entertain me.
I am a sucker for a messy polycule.

Look, Diana Wynn Jones has a way of writing witty middle grade literature that makes it entertaining to read even for adults. I just wish there would be less fatphobia.

This is for my sapphic cannibalism girlies (m/w/d) who like gore and loyal knights.
A solid horror novel with a pretty cool setting. Turns out a siege and impending starvation make a great soil for religious fucked up ness.

Grace Curtis produced art again. Not as strong imo as her Sci-Fi but still amazing stand alone fantasy with a romance I actually enjoyed.

I get what the buzz is about- this is poetic, folklore(ish) and pretty freaking magical.

Pretty solid magical realism about the Indian-American diaspora.
The pacing was a bit off but the idea behind the magic was really cool.
