Truth

Thanks to the new and improved remaster, I 'finally' legitimately beat Quake 2 - original AND 64 versions - thus completing the quadfecta. Still got the add-on campaigns though! Starting with: The Reckoning.

The fact that you can now buy Avengers Definitive Edition for five bucks is just further proof that 'Games as a Service' are inherently worthless. As soon as they stop being profitable OR simply run out of time on the license - these games instantly become useless garbage, even to the developer.

So I was watching Cat-Women of the Moon - a black and white, sci-fi, novelty flick from the 50s - when this color image suddenly showed up for a single frame. It probably took me 15 tries to pause on the right frame. Huh.

Yeah, after maxing out an entire battle pass by almost exclusively LOSING against rushdown in the Battle Hub, I think it's time to take a short break from SF6.

I beat River City Girls Zero. Fantastic presentation and a very early example of a truly cinematic action game. Too bad the actual combat is truly awful though, with stiff controls, ludicrous hitboxes and the worst version of "snubbelspelet" that I've seen since SamSho 6.

Despite a nasty eye infection, I managed to finally get the entire Shredder's Revenge base roster to level 10! Now to start chasing unlocks in the new survival mode! #TMNT

Best game to play while drinking? Symphony of the Night. Playing this while drunk while make the game an actual challenge and it makes the excellent dialogue even more entertaining!

Watched the Texas Chainsaw Massacre for the first time after the original spent a few decades banned in my home country. The story behind the making of the movie is actually a lot more tasteless and macabre than what is actually on-screen in the film itself. Surprisingly tame considering the rep.

I beat Clash of Heroes Definitive Edition. It's a remaster of a remaster of a spin-off to a reboot of HOMM. The music can get a bit repitive but the game is actually a surprisingly clever puzzler/RPG that really feels like a genuine story in the Ashan setting.

Watching the surreal mystery movie Suspiria, the original 1977 version. Directed by Italian horror icon Dario Argento - it houses absolutely gorgeous settings bathed in green and red, and against this backdrop we explore an almost Lynchian sequence of dream-like events inside a prestigious school.
