Is it a kernel issue in not recognizing the hardware? Had a similar problem when we tried to upgrade to a RX 9070 XT. The kernel Mint was on just didn't really support the card yet. Have heard that Arch Linux has better compat, but it isn't as hands off as Mint. Haven't tried it yet through.

Ugh, that sucks. We believe its cause we're conditioned to believe that. It is a bold faced lie that we have to unlearn and fight against. Not easy to, but we unlearned other bullshit we were taught so this one is gonna keep fighting and be a different kinda *problem* than what they believe we are.
