You can't prove I was there.
We were the fastest growing economy because immediately before that we had an economic disaster. If you include the bit before growth and average it all out it doesn't look like growth at all.

He lists a bunch of problems that are highly consequential of Brexit.

YOU DEVIANT
December 17, 2025 at 12:23 PM
Yes. It's surprising how many people confuse someone's salary with the contribution they actually make to the economy.

Stay at home Mums earn basically nothing, but they feed and care for (and produce!) the next generation of productive labour.

You just made my sides hurt.

My expectation is that the only people who care about details and are voting for reform are the tiny fraction to whom racist bigotry is more important than any competence and significant donors who expect a personal and corrupt economic advantage from having influence.
December 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM
I'm not sure that the bulk of people who would vote for reform are at all interested in any details, will know that reform has been stuffed with former Tories or care about that.

My assumption is that if they did care about details they would not be voting for reform.

FFS Why? The man's an idiot.

I interacted with Gully Foyle on twitter. It was extremely tiring.
December 10, 2025 at 4:28 PM
Maybe his behaviour is explained by the trauma of all the other boys singing "Farage has two, but very small" ?
December 10, 2025 at 3:58 PM
He personally promised to do that, but he did not put into place the legal framework to make it so.

It may have been political suicide for him to do that, but it would not have caused any *legal* issues for him or the government to ignore the referendum result.

You know they listen to you without appreciating your sarcasm, right?

(please forgive the typos)

There's a Daily Mail article claiming that Savile Town has only 48 out of ~4033 residents who put themselves down as White British in the 2011 census.

I would guess he us suggesting this represents something about Dewsbury, West Yourkshire or the UK.

... but they've confused their obsessively desired fiction with reality.

Maybe they're ill or something.
December 10, 2025 at 11:15 AM
No idea. They just seem to revel in hating places based on a fictional accounts that tickle their outrage glands or something.

Their ideal fantasy seems to be dystopias filled with things they fear like foreigners, diversity or culture in the same way lots of normal people enjoy zombie fiction,

He's talking about places to which he has apparently never been and has absolutely no clue about.

I'm still on the sandwich which would not have been sold to and consumed by the immigrant had they not immigrated and the consequential negative impact.

[I'm not an economist though]
December 9, 2025 at 6:03 PM
To be fair, he did make that decision before he went full-on mentalist.
December 9, 2025 at 11:23 AM
Maybe we should start to look at the "undeserving rich at the rest of us' expense" a category it would honestly surprise me to find that Nick Timothy did not belong do.

Honestly, what useful productive thing has he ever done that has benefited the population of the UK??
December 8, 2025 at 12:25 PM
I mean it's not like we haven't ever withdrawn the citizenship of someone from the UK on the rationale that they are harmful to the rest of the people in the UK.
