tbf 0079 Challia and GQuuuuuuX Challia are pretty separate characters. He only appears in one episode too iirc, so you could probably just watch that and be totally set.

I’m leaning towards this being the canonical Danganronpa 4 and somehow following up on them being fugitives in 3.
