Separate bookcases for hardbacks and paperbacks. Shelved by genre in alphabetical order by author and then a smaller bookcase for current/possible next reads - that's my current set up but I'm constantly considering changing it ☺️

I'm doing the same most mornings now. Victorian house, no double glazing, no central heating, skew-whiff walls, and gaps under every door. 'Character' seems to go hand in hand with needing a window vac, a dehumidifier and plenty of draught excluders!

I long to be the kind of reader who sticks to a tbr or completes reading challenge prompts but I'm very much a 'vibes' reader. I stand in front of my tbr bookcases and wait for my next read to send out the right vibes to me. Sometimes, I narrow it to a genre or a season/setting before picking 😄📚💙

Currently going back and forth between listening to The Secret History and reading In Memoriam 📚
