Ian's points are this:
1) Banks (investment) want low risk, long tail returns. Entrepeauners are high risk.
2) Governments (elected) want to be seen addressing the problem, but not offend the rich.
3) People (workers) will put up with a lot of shit to have a roof over their head.

The most successful party is the one that changes society to fit its own vision. Not the one that holds on to power the longest, gets elected the most often, or gains the seat of political leadership in a given country.

Such cute and brightly coloured birds. Very timid. For us, if any sulphur-crested cockatoos or rainbow lorikeets are around fights happen and the red-green parrots flee.
