Lads, the window's open. Would be cool if you could get some attacking decisiveness and quality through the doors. Could still be a great season, this.

Who's slicing onions this late?

White shorts!

Great role models in that team.

There's the one kind of massive positive though - Pope must have been using his time injured/"injured" well in regards of using his feet. He looks a totally different player with the ball at his feet. Calmer, more precise. Really promising. Should be given some praise.

Thank you for all the fantastic work you guys do. You're playing a huge part in bringing the stadium and the city to life.

Our midfield couldn't be bothered. Joggers.

Might have been the last time we ever saw him play at St James'

Partially agree. His way of leading definitely is through action, but far too often I believe I see him fighting, trying and moaning for himself rather than get the other 10 on the pitch step up. When he's not on his day (which is quite often) the leading-through-action has its flaws.

Bruno with a captain's moment - yes, but not a captain's match. Imo it was a huge mistake making him captain. He doesn't seem to encourage his teammates enough. It's quite obvious whenever Burn and/or Trippier is on the pitch - or even by the touchline warming up.

I think a big part of the problem with the journalists covering NUFC is that Newcastle is a relatively small city with local newspapers covering the sport. They have to behave or else they risk being put on the naughty list. I don't want to compare it with The White House, but...

It's sad, mostly because Man Utd are utter abysmal.
December 26, 2025 at 10:01 PM
@chrisdhwaugh.bsky.social I might be wrong.

The feeling for the early kick-offs at home is that the home team isn't fully awake when the whistle blows. I think I've seen that a few too many times. Hope I'm wrong.

Took them 92 minutes to get up to something near the level of passion and grit of the mackems. Time to ask some questions.

Elanga must be Ronaldinho-esque at training, offers literally zero in games and he's never in synq with his teammates.
December 14, 2025 at 2:55 PM
They're a really, really fascinating team.
December 6, 2025 at 5:07 PM
Well.....
December 6, 2025 at 4:57 PM
They're utter useless defending a lead.
November 25, 2025 at 9:13 PM
Please, please, please, never lead at halftime again.

Vil dette kunne streames for oss som ikke har mulighet til å være tilstede?

Wasn't aware, sorry. It's one of the most fascinating sides of football, this home/away psychological stuff. That and how defenders that get the slightest of touch on their back falls to the ground and always gets a free kick.
November 2, 2025 at 8:56 PM
You need to ask questions about the wild differences of home and away matches. It's the same sport. The same players. The same ball and the same rules. Why are this bunch of players completely unrecognizable when playing away from St. James'?

Can we talk about how shit Bruno in particular has been?
November 2, 2025 at 2:38 PM
He did indeed surprise us all.
