Our second session was entitled ‘Walking and Talking: Building Communities on the Road to Impact’. Five academics shared impact projects on everything from a podcast about close reading literature to the experiences of older male carers.

Our first session of the day was entitled ‘From Barriers to Bridges: The Journey to Social Change’, and we heard from four academics about everything from filmmaking in prisons to the impact of forest school on pupils with SEND.
