They'll just claim they never have been MAGA and history - especially the US one - will just forget about them. Like it forgot the huge majority of US Americans who were absolutely in love with the idea to assault Iraq. Where are they now? That is where the MAGAs will be.

You think of it as a bribe. Because that is what luxuries are. But it is also a threat. That is what the absence of toilet paper is. It doesn't just make your life less comfortable, it lets you feel less human.

All those things are nice to have, but something as mundane as toilet paper makes clear how dehumanizing the consequences of her talking would be. This isn't just about worse food, it is about wiping one's arse with the bare hand.

Nobody claims Thatcher would have been become a better human by decaying in the ground. This is merely a ranking of evils. And in that it is hard to argue against Trump sneakily securing his position somewhere between Thatcher and AIDS.
