We have seen it before with Nordiques and Jets in NHL. That would be a sad reality if it happens again

Low revenues, low atmosphere, and lack of money will drive first the talent off, then the teams off. Franchises will move.

Then ticket prices will go up in Canada. Maybe not with respect to USD, but an average Canadian will not be able to afford tickets.

Just on top of my head, tariffs will push CAD further down against USD. While these teams spend in USD for their players, their revenue will be in CAD.
