I'm just here to follow accounts I find interesting. I won't follow you back just because you followed me, so don't bother.

The triangle in my profile is Floyd (the best cat).
The pace of technological change is amazing. My grandfather worked over 40 years in the AI slop mines and could never even dream of making content this shitty.

Is “lead” just an acceptable past tense of “to lead” now?

No, you need to debate my position that life-saving vaccines are bad, actually, and some children need to die. Cowards. (/s)

We chose Timmy’s name because we had a Harris-Walz sign in our yard when we first met him 🥲

We try, but when we brought him in from the cold I’m afraid he melted 😔

Happy that you guys like Timmy, so here’s a bonus picture since I have so many. We sometimes bring Floyd’s dinner to him since he’s 15 and kind of slowing down. Timmy came over to supervise and doesn’t know where this mess came from.

I mean, yeah.

In all seriousness, if this finally helps the “Republicans f*** things up” message break through and replace the “Republicans are good for the economy” belief that so many people still inexplicably have, it could definitely help Democrats in the long term. Not that all this is remotely worth it.
April 5, 2025 at 11:28 AM
You would have to shamelessly brag about making people richer all the time every single day, way beyond the point of embarrassment, but Democrats don’t do that. Meanwhile, Republicans had no problem endlessly repeating how we were all poor and miserable under Biden, and that became the zeitgeist.

This is an amazing sentence from one of the two dissenters in US v Wong Kim Ark: Acknowledging the opposing view supporting citizenship for American-born Chinese, he said that "Of course, the argument on the other side is that the very words of the constitution embrace such a case."

I really want the market to show tech bros that no one gives a shit about what computers have to say about anything. Surely people will stop clicking on BuzzFeed links once they realize it's nothing but AI crap, right? Probably not 😭

So much warm and safe and food and love and blankets on the inside, eh Timmy?

I think a lot of people agree, which is why there's a lot of hate and disdain towards the newspapers this year that were exposed as billionaire propaganda rags.

My Gravity take is that Sandra Bullock's character should have died at the end, either by getting stranded in space after all that struggle, burning up on reentry, or something. Audiences would've hated it, but it would have been a better film if it hadn't gone with the most predictable ending.

Maybe we could call it Trumpcare and let the magas think they're owning the libs by taking away their insurance and making them use Trumpcare. I'm joking but also being more realistic than anyone else talking about the possibility of this happening when Republicans control all three branches.
