Von daher ist e/OS keine Konkurrenz für GrapheneOS, sie sind Äonen von GOS entfernt. Bekommen aber Millionen an EU Geldern. Selbst die OS von den Herstellern sind um Längen privater und sicherer mit der entsprechenden Konfiguration.

Hi, e/OS ist leider weder privat noch sicher. Und sie belügen blatant ihre Nutzer. Der Begriff “rom" ist falsch, es ist ein OS. Und das Konzept Tracker ist irreführend, viele der sog. Tracker song einfach libraries. Ich empfehle sehr das hier zu lesen:

And also have a look at this lengthy post from the project about how e/OS is actively lying and misleading their users. Like their voice-to-text service which they include sends user speech data to OpenAI with no local option. WTF 😒

And whomever mentions other custom OSes like e/OS, Lineage or Calyx as viable alternatives for security and privacy, doesn't have the faintest what they're talking about. These are aeons behind what GrapheneOS is doing.

Unfortunately you're gravely mistaken about this. Mobile security in general is ages ahead compared to desktop security. Especially iOS and Google Pixel stock OS. The only option even better is a Pixel with GrapheneOS.

Hardware toggles are security theater providing you with a false sense of safety. And besides, Linux phones are incredibly insecure, not to mention the missing app compatibility.
