It occurs to me after digesting Jack Smith’s report that, just as banks weren’t held accountable after the collapse of the housing market because they were too big to fail, Trump was too corrupt to prosecute. His power to intimidate witnesses and game the courts made prosecution impossible.

This is an excellent to Christian dominionism. It is, however, a mistake to think of it as a religious movement. Rather, it is a political movement which has appropriated Christian language — a highly politicized form of civil religion IMHO.
