Not a fan of the lead actor but only a few days later, I’m shocked how a movie about politicians executing their opponents, or plotting to, suddenly became a lot more relevant

Finishing the switch from Poland to France, I finally finished L’Atalante. It really got me when the guy got his haircut from the dog groomer.

I started a rewatch of Danton. I can ignore Depardieu, there’s interesting faces with Pszoniak and Linda from Poland, the Jahrhundertring director Chereau from France and even Winkler from Germany! The ending and, even more throughout the film, the score are especially eerie.

I think about my job and the things I have to deal with every weekday, but it could be worse. I feel for the different characters in Kanal, “I love Janek” and the ocarina playing artist.

Who knows how much sooner I would have gotten into anime if I learned the voice actors in Tales of Xillia. I’ve never played the sequel - and it was only after I met Brina that I learned she’s a major character in that one, along with Erwin and Armin from the AoT dub.

Me watching this cutscene: “What is this, the Poseidon Adventure!?” Otherworld proves you don’t need eyes to enjoy it

Outstanding animation in every second, fantastic voice acting, great story, and… how can I describe it… the audience and I erupted in laughter many times, especially when we got a… revealing moment with Denji

The voice acting across the board was fantastic down to each character. But if I had two favorites, it would be Beam and Angel Devil. That and the music made it a great sounding movie.

Can’t forget the year that brought the anime that got me hooked on the whole thing
