Official Nintendo merchandising often lacks Kirby, Pokémon, and others non-EPD IPs. These are usually handled by their respective co-owners but there seems to be a push to be more inclusive to Kirby in these regards. Maybe it’s a leap, but I wonder if this will be reflected in a game at some point?

This obsession with tearing down things because someone *thinks* it may be genAI is so banal and stupid. GenAI sucks major ass but treating every piece of art as guilty until proven innocent is just as reductive and damaging.

Fun fact: The original icon still exists!
When Nintendo released NSO icons for DKCRHD earlier this year, they included the original DK render as an option which I thought was weird at the time, but chalked it up to them wanting to let you add backgrounds to it. It makes more sense in hindsight now.
