Follow the money.

I've been hedged against this since Jan 3, when Elon threatened to primary any member of Congress that didn't vote to shut down the government. Trump and company hadn't even been sworn in. I have close to zero confidence in US markets.

People who don't/won't plan ahead are constantly being bitten in the ass by the unexpected. They tend to also be low information apathetic people. By any objective measure, Biden was a highly effective POTUS. But low information non-planners had to blame somebody. I hope they're satisfied.

The contribution cap exists because there is a maximum SS benefit. You're only taxed enough to pay for that eventual benefit. Full stop. It's a fairness issue.

Yet another day in which no sane reason is offered for me to switch from non-affiliated to registered Dem. Nope. Not doing it. But I do vote blue no matter who.
