it's the developers choice to put that additional charge onto the consumer. No-one complains when game companies take a cut on everything discs and digital downloads.

the AA magic mouse can be found pretty cheap and works pretty good. it's a bit finnicky to get the smoothness and gesture settings correct for your liking but it's worth it.

having worked for them and experienced firsthand the downright dystopian practices they put workers under. I doubt this would be possible if no-one has tried to challenge that stuff first.
